The majority of the images I produce have a similar feel to them, bright lighting & bright eyes - even though I generally favour monochrome images.
There are times when variety is desirable though, and this week the challenge was to experiment with lighting to try to re-create the feel of an old painting.
This was the result:
The fall-off of the light, the tones, and the pose, are all remarkably reminiscent of an old oil-painting, and so I was very pleased with the result.
